Originally from Virginia, Dr Nicole Freeman completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. After living in Florida and Wisconsin, she attained her veterinary degree at Tufts University Cummings School of Vet Med in 2002. Following graduation, Dr Freeman finished a combined medical/surgical internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth. Prior to joining Westford Animal Hospital, she practiced general veterinary medicine in Shrewsbury for 9 years, and then 3 years in Acton. Her special interests include internal medicine, geriatric medicine, anesthesia/pain management, and dentistry. In her free time, Dr Freeman enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family. She and her husband are currently owned by her two children, geriatric cat, and 60 pound canine shedding machine.
